LDC22 Guidelines

  1. Draw something and do not think about the later lace making
    Really, while you're drawing, don't think about how you're going to make lace later. It'll work itself out. Trust your design process. It may not come out what you imagined in the beginning, but it may come out something you didn't expect.

  2. Use what you already have for drawing. Don't buy extra drawing stuff.
    It is far more important to keep at it every day than to work with the specified material. This challenge is about designing lace and not about having the right material. Besides, lack is the mother of invention.

  3. Post it
    Post it on any social media account you want or just post it on your fridge door. Just because you think it's crap doesn't mean it is. Other people may see something in your design that you would never have discovered yourself. Even if it's crap, it just means your design process isn't finished yet. If you don't share it, you will never know.
